FINALLY!!! I cnt wait till they drop the album date…i dnt buy CDs alot BUT im most likely getting this one.

By now you probably have heard of, or seen a Bliss Skate Company t-shirt because of the strategical moves their team is making. Well recently i crossed paths with the Head of Marketing for Bliss Skate Co., Clayton “Fly Guy” Nesmith and had him tell us a little more about the brand and it’s vision.

I feel like this brand will make me and my business partners very successful if we make the proper moves! I say that because not only are the designs creative and eye catching but when you add the meaning of the clothing along with it being able to reach diverse crowds people, we can really win off this.

BLISS means a complete state of happiness and this is what we live by. Our logo is a crossed trucks (skateboard wheels) with halo on top each wheel is a different color: Red-is strength Purple –is royalty Blue-is loyalty, Green- is wealth and this is BLISS PSYCHOLOGY. The logo is this way because the creator KD Graham’s complete state of happiness is his love for skate boarding & love for the life, (halo represents happiness/life).

Although, we are a skater brand we don’t just target skateboarders we target EVERYONE that wants to be positive and have a complete state of happiness! This brand is for hipsters, skaters, rappers, singers, athletes, old people, young people, black, white, Asians etc. It has no race, gender, or specific target market although we aim for ages 16-24. Every and anyone that wants the best out of life is our target market.

We have built a pretty large fan base here in Atlanta, Ga. and there are a number of celebrities that have been supportive of us : Killer Mike, Roscoe Dash, PRO Skater Terry “TK” Kennedy, Fonzworth Bentley, Malice of the Clipse, Bow Wow, ex- BET Rap City Host & Atlanta Hot 107.9 radio personality J-nicks and many more. Last week, we were the clothing sponsor of a new MTV Reality Show called “Fake it Till u make it” for DJ ET and his artist Fabbio in MIAMI, FL.

Next month we will be sponsoring some females on a Reality Show for singer Keri Hilson & female rapper Trina. Also in the month of July we are on the cover of VIP Magazine which has over 10,000 subscribers. BLISS is the clothing sponsor for Pink Secrets Private Launch Party celebrity red carpet event with Felipe G stylist, SB shades, Dramatic Label, and the Make Up Squad at “STILL” NYC on June 12th in NEW YORK City. Bliss was a clothing sponsor for Roscoe Dash’s “TTU” music video on Thursday. We were also the OFFICIAL clothing sponsor of UniverCITY ft. Nate Walka “Good College Girl video”.

According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary “fresh” is an adjective and is defined as having its original qualities unimpaired or free from taint. Fresh is usually synonymous with these definitions when used, but when used in a fashion context, “fresh” is quite different.

Fresh when speaking about fashion or the overall appearance of someone or something simply means fashionable or cool. This meaning though considered the slang definition of the word, is used and widely accepted by large amounts of people, so the next time someone tells you, I think your shoes are fresh or that is a fresh outfit, they simple mean that they think what you have on is fashionable.

I have been receiving emails asking why I chose to name a fashion website RateMyFresh, and what the relationship between fresh and fashion was? Well I hope after reading this article, for those who did not know what fresh meant can now understand where I was coming from.

This is a pair of heels from Olsen Haus’  vegan shoe line. All their products are animal and earth friendly. I do not know of many women that take that into account when buying shoes, but for those that do and i applaud you for it, and here is a brand you should consider for your next purchase.

Everyone knows Nike always comes hard with their Blazer collection, and this is no exception. This is the bamboo weave Nike Blazer Mid edition. As you can see from the pictures, the bamboo which makes up the top of the shoe and is light brown, the Nike swoosh is white leather as well as the mid sole and heel, while beige leather is used for the lacing and toe area. The green colored  laces and front really sets it off and makes the shoe stand out.

This is a really good look for the ladies, and they are now available at your local Nike retailers and boutiques, or if you are and online shopper you can get them on eBay.
