To follow up our profile with Ibn Jasper, we caught up with Lupe Fiasco on set of the recent RSVP Gallery lookbook video shoot for Trilly & Truly’s Basic Info. For the Spring/Summer run of merchandise, Lupe decided to stick with a simplistic theme that focused more around iconic imagery than complex design. SoccerFest 2010 USA vs Eangland CabbageTown Park

CabbageTown Park was the location for Soccerfest 2010 USA vs. England. This World Cup festival saw a larger than expected turnout with people from different parts of town brought together by one sport, soccer. There was plenty of food, entertainment, and beer floating around, as well as vendors selling or handing out free products.

The game was watched on a giant screen located at the side of the park and people sat on the lawn and enjoyed the game. There was a strong USA fan base at this festival but also had a few English fans sporting there national red and white colored jerseys. To many people’s surprise, the game ended with a tie at 1 all, a goal from Steven Gerard the English captain very early in the first half and a gifted goal from Clint Dempsey just before the stroke of halftime.
